EDG aims to be Australia’s most responsible drinks retailer. To deliver on our community commitments we have strict guidelines in place on ranging products and how they are advertised and promoted. For example, we won’t stock products or advertise in a way that might appeal to children or encourage excessive consumption. See if you meet EDG’s responsible buying charter. This checklist applies to any alcoholic or alcohol branded products (e.g. branded chocolate, chips or soft drinks) you submit.
Getting Your Product Ranged With Us
Like most retailers, EDG maintains a comprehensive and up-to-date range review calendar.
Throughout the year we will review our range in some detail. The calendar will give you guidance on when, for example, we may be reviewing our craft beer range; sparkling wine; or the dark spirit RTD category. This is the best time for you to submit your product to us for consideration.
Relevant factors we may look at include sales performance, net margins, market trends and expected performance against competitive products.
Fast track your application
While our range review calendar is generally the best time to start talking with us, we also want to ensure our customers don’t miss out on something new and exciting. If you believe you have a unique product – and there’s no competitor in sight – then we’d like to fast-track you into our stores or websites. And we’d like to hear from you – NOW…..

What to do next?
One of our buyers will assess your application and will try to get back to you by phone or email within two weeks. Depending on your product(s), and what we’re looking to source, they’ll make a decision whether or not to take your application to the next stage.
